An impressive effect can be achieved with just a few Schnerzinger connections. Here is a recommendation:
As a general rule, the further up the signal chain a cable is located, the greater its influence on the sound quality.
Therefore, optimization should ideally start with the source device by replacing the power cable and the digital connection cables. This is because information that is lost there cannot be restored further down the signal chain.
Alternatively, you can also start at the end of the chain, i.e. the speaker cable. These cables are usually the longest connections in the system and are therefore particularly susceptible to high-frequency interference.
Whether you start at the beginning to avoid loss of information or at the end to reduce interference depends on the individual load and priority. As a rule, however, it is advisable to start with the source device.
Please note:
As long as there are cables from other manufacturers in a music system, electrical interference fields may enter the signal path. The recorded interference may then become more audible due to the extreme SCHNERZINGER bandwidth and the expected sound improvement from SCHNERZINGER cables may not materialize due to the cable mix.
Many customers can only gradually switch their system to SCHNERZINGER cables. Since the combination of third-party cables with SCHNERZINGER cables has a certain potential for error due to the problems described above, SCHNERZINGER offers solutions specially developed for the combination with third-party cables.
