Schnerzinger cables and various protectors are the main contribution to the realism of the sound of my system, all other equipment, although carefully selected and appreciated, is interchangeable in comparison.
The effect of Schnerzinger products that I experience?
I have now installed the Scherzinger wall socket and the Scherzinger FUSES fuse for the music system and so much more has happened than was to be expected with such seemingly inconspicuous changes.
First of all, it is important that you adapt the LAN Protector optimally to the existing environment and find the right setting. You should allow some time and peace and quiet for this. Once the right setting has been found, the sound image locks into place and the level of the system is lifted to a higher level.
I listened attentively for days, constantly wondering if I had really gone down the audiophile rabbit hole again, because I was initially unsure whether the GRID PROTECTOR was “just” an enhancing tweak or, as I now feel, an absolutely essential addition to any audiophile system.
After the first 3 hours, the listening impression was already noticeably different. Tonally clearer, with controlled highs and a sharper bass foundation, easier to hear through and with a better depth graduation and delineation. However, it was still closed, with a narrow stage and a slight tendency to push into the room.
